@CAM In Switzerland every citizen must to serve in Army o Social Services, wen you leave the army you can take your weapon, a sig 220 pistol, to your home and you must defend the country in case of a foreing attack…
Regular Army have 1.800,000 soldiers, but every citizen must to pass the army service, with a weapon o without it…

Not totally true, but every person who is in the army (like myself) gets a rifle, is trained during service, takes the rifle home incl. amunition and has to shoot a certain program on the range every year.
